2 lbs hash browns
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup butter (optional)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
8 oz sour cream
salt and pepper
10 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated and divided 4-1
Mix all ingredient well. Pour into casserole dish, sprinkle with reserved cheddar.
Bake at 325 for 1 hr 20 min.
